India Thanks Bangladesh for sending Remdesivir drug, medical supplies to India as Covid Surge
Bangladesh has offered to provide Remdesivir drug, Emergency medicine and medical equipment to the people of India to combat the coronavirus epidemic.
A press release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday (April 29th) said that Bangladesh, along with about 10,000 vials of injectable anti-viral, will send oral anti-viral, 30,000 PPE kits and thousands of zinc, calcium, vitamin C and other medicines and medical equipment to India on an emergency basis. It further said that Bangladesh is showing solidarity with its nearest neighbor India and Dhaka is ready to provide all possible assistance to save the lives of Indians from the ongoing terrible coronavirus epidemic.
The statement further said, “The Government of Bangladesh extends its deepest condolences and sympathies for the recent loss of life in India due to the Covid epidemic. And the Bangladeshi people are praying for the relief of the people of India in this difficult time. ”
